Sarah Zivic

Sarah’s journey into food styling began with a lifelong connection to the culinary world. Raised in Connecticut as the daughter of a restaurateur and innkeeper, she grew up surrounded by the rhythm and intention of the kitchen. Early exposure to New York City’s dining scene shaped her appreciation for beautifully presented food and the emotion it can evoke. In high school, she worked at Bantam Bread Company, where the precision of baking refined her attention to detail and respect for craftsmanship.

After graduating from Colorado State University’s Warner College of Natural Resource Management, Sarah founded ZIVIX at Spangalang Brewery in Five Points, transforming an office space into a walk-up snack bar. There, she developed menus, catered events, and built lasting client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of food as both a product and an experience. She continued working across various roles in the industry, building a well-rounded perspective of restaurant operations.

Sarah later entered the production world through craft services and quickly discovered that food styling was a natural fit. Her organized approach and commitment to ingredient integrity allow her to create visuals that feel both polished and authentic. Guided by strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset, she focuses on thoughtful preparation, intentional composition, and presenting food that looks as real and inviting as it tastes.
